Tutorial: Credit Card to Overline (OL)

There are a few easy steps to get involved in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. The steps outlined below are by no means the only way to access the cryptocurrency ecosystem, nor the Overline interchange, there are more than just one method. In fact, there are many companies offer the ability to move traditional bank-housed fiat into digital cryptocurrencies.

The following steps are formatted after the U.S.A. steps to get into cryptocurrencies and the links match what most U.S.A. residents would need to use. If you are outside of the U.S.A. the steps will likely be similar. Be wary of deals that look too good to be true, they often are.

Purchasing Crypto with a Credit Card Is typically more expensive than using a Bank Transfer!

Buying Crypto with a credit card is typically a straight forward path to the cryptocurrency space, however it is usually a more expensive way to do it after the fees for using a credit card are included.
To avoid this see some of the other ways to access crypto:

  • Via Bank transfers into a centralized exchange account then continuing with step 3 above.
  • Mining the Overline network and earning Overline which is immediately available on the Overline interchange.
  • Over the counter [OTC] purchases - brokered purchases, usually through a 3rd party who collects a fee for connecting the buyer and seller.
